planned at Bonn, Germany on 22 Sept.
• Monitor UAS competition projects and request
AESS Board support to support Universities to
compete.
• Determine current UAS interest and
engagement by AESS Chapters.

Budget / Resources
The 2015 AESS budget includes $1,000
funding for the technical panels.
Additional funding may be requested
as new initiatives.
Unmanned Aircraft Systems Competitions 2016
Established by the Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems
International, the AUVSI Foundation is a non-profit organization
that provides students with hands-on robotics activities designed to
fuel and sustain their interest in science, technology, engineering
and math (STEM). Since the competitions began in 1991, more
than $1.4 million has been awarded in prize money.
