Prepare a short autobiography. Write as much as you can in Spanish. You could include
facts such as what grade you are, your hobbies on the weekends, what you like to do after
school, and what you hope to learn in Spanish class in the upcoming months.
Suggested materials: poster board, paper, colored markers or pencils, scissors, glue or
tape, photos.
Preparation:
 Make a list in English including your favorite hobbies, activities and subjects.
 Decide on what format your list will take on the poster board or paper. Be
creative!
 Look for clippings and/or photos that illustrate your favorite activities. Attach
photos to the poster and write a brief caption for each illustration.
 Be prepared to introduce yourself in Spanish and to say where you are from- Yo
soy_____ (name) or Mi nombre es _______ (name), Yo vivo en (I live in _____).
 Share your poster with the class!
