In the holidays I travelled to Golden Bay with my family and the
Irelands. It took us two days of travel. We had to stop
somewhere for the night. We had fish and chips. It was yum.
We slept in tents. My family had fun and I had fun. I went
for a swim on my body board down at the lake. I tricked
Daddy because I ran to the water and stopped, but Daddy ran
into the water after me. I stood in the shallow bit of the
water and Daddy landed in the deep bit. Tristan my big
brother went to the other side. Kate told me to go to the
other side of the lake. Then I went to the other side of the
lake. Daddy was so happy. He and I had lots of fun.

In the holidays I went to a Three Little Pigs Show. Sabriah
hid her eyes with her hands. There was a reading pig and a
sleeping pig and an eating pig. Tymon started to cry. We
had some lollies. Tymon had popcorn. Gran came too. The
wolf wanted the money to buy some things.

In the school holidays I had a birthday and I turned seven
and I went to the dairy. At the dairy I brought a pack with a
lollipop and a squirt and a drink. We had a chocolate fondue.

In the holidays I went to Halden Arms wiht my family and
we went on a Jet Ski and on a biscuit and when we got back
to camp we saw a ferrit. We saw a rabbit and we went
hunting and we then shot 8 rabbits and 7 hares. We went
through a long river and there was a big drop and I almost
fell off the back. Dad caught me and his hands were
slippery. It was lucky he caught me.

I travelled to the Antarctic Centre. We went to a movie and
it was cool there. There was a bird that had pooed. I went
in a storm thing. There was an igloo and a slide and it was
very very very cold! Then it was time to get out and we
went home. The next day we went to the North Island. The
plane was pretty big, it freaked me out. The aeroplane was
scary when we took off we were going up and down. We
went to Nana’s, I was shy there.

In the weekend I went to Twizel and it took a long time.
Then we finally got there and it was so hot. I went to the
shop to get an ice-cream. Later I went on my motorbike, it
was fun. Then we went for a drive to the lake. When we
got there we went down on the boat. I went on the biscuit, it
was fun. Then in six more days we left. It took a long time
to get back. When we got back I got to ride the 4 wheeler, it
was fun. Then I went to play with Jonty, we went in the
creek and on the kneeboard and the boat, it was fun.

During the holidays we travelled to Christchurch to go to
Clip and Climb. It wasn’t very fun driving up there because
we’ve been up there a few times to go to Rachel and
Stephens house. We get up really early to go to the airport
to go to another country. At Clip and Climb there are about
twenty climbing walls there. Mum said we have to go up
one wall and then come back down again and go onto
another activity. On the next one I went one I got up to the
top of it and I was the first child in our family to get up to
the top of that one. The higher you get the hotter you get.
By the time we did most of the climbing walls we were
dripping with sweat, it was dripping of our faces.. We were
so hot so Mum and Dad took us to McDonalds for lunch, I
had a chicken wrap, chips and a bottle of lemonade.

In the holidays we went for a launch and I wanted to catch
and elephant fish. We made a fire because it was a cold day.
A shark bit the kontiki line. I love helicopters so much. We
got one elephant fish and dad flew a helicopter. I loved it so
much and it is a lot of fun.

I went over my stop bank to the river. I jumped off the
swing then I went down the rapids. It was fun. Then I
jumped off the branch. We took Grace, when we got back
home we had a bbq.

In the holidays I travelled to Orana Park, in Christchurch.
First it was the Meerkats. We saw they were running
everywhere looking for shade. They did not want to be in
the sun. It was too hot. We walked most of the way and we
went on the shuttle tour. We went to see the Otters second.
They just sat on their wood watching everybody go past.
When we were around there were soaking up some sun, if
they got too hot they’d jump in the water and cool down.
On the shuttle ride we saw lions and ring tailed lemurs. I
was the photographer of the trip. Before we left we watched
the Siamang Gibbon show while eating our ice-creams. As
we were leaving we went to an army camp next door. I took
lots of photos because I love the army. When we were
arriving I was excited but there were just closing for the
night. As we left dad said that he’d be getting camo nets ups
and lots of army machines everywhere hiding in the bush.

During the holidays my family and I went to the West Coast
because my Mum was busy. We got to live in a house truck
and it was cool. The best part was when my mum got pulled
over by the police and got a ticket. The scary part was when
we got the nasty policeman, he wasn’t very nice at all. We
stopped at Jacksons for a drink and we got home at night. I
was excited to go back to school on the first day, school is
the best ever.

In the holidays I went to the North Island and I spent 22
days in the North Island. We went to the beach and it was so
exciting at the beach. We went of a ferry and trains, also
other vehicles. I was so happy, there were things to do on
the ferry, there was a magic show. The magic show was so,
so cool. I even did something, the magic man dressed me up
as super chicken and I made an egg in a bag and it was very
funny. There was a museum, it was best thing I did. There
were some trolls from the Lord of the Rings. One of them
ripped his pants off. It was fun when I dug up a fossil.

morning Nana woke us up and people kept on going to the
toilet. We got to open the presents. We got to have some
lollies but I saved some. We got a big Barbie candy cane
and in the middle it is pink, we haven’t eaten it.

drop off my big brother at the airport. We waited five
minutes until his flight. Then we went to Orana Park and
saw the Meerkats and went home. On the way home we got

landed at the airport and went to Raglan in the North Island,
we went to the beach too. We played in the water.

In the holidays I went to the river, with my Mum, Pyper and
Dell. My mum set everything up me and Pyper helped.
When everything was set up me and Pyper got our floaties
and hopped into the river and floated down to mummy.
Then we jumped off the ginormous hill and the slim pole.
Me and Pyper played in the sand and we made a little river.
Afterwards we packed up and Pyper got to have a little play
and then we went home.

I got to eat at the cafe. I had a milo and a chocolate biscuit.
I got to have a look at the monkey in their home. It was
raining. I got to see the zebra and the giraffe too. I got to
see the Meerkats. I loved it. I want to go back again.

Chloe K’s house. We played on the PlayStation and went

In the holidays my family and I hired a campervan. I slept
up top. Dad was driving in the front and when you felt car
sick you got to sit in the front with him. When we were in
Kaiteriteri we met some cool friends. There were two
double beds down the bottom. At the end we stayed in
Christchurch at Aunty Georgias and Uncle Jason’s house.

Baxter went in the boat. I went on a biscuit. I almost fall
off. George went for a kneeboard. We made a mud slide.
There were heaps of people. Then we went home. It was
awesome. I was very tired. Baxter was snoring.

almost went on the water slide playground. It was so much
fun. I tried to float. I went with my family to the farm yard
new Winchester Rural School. I mostly went bike riding

days. It was exciting in the cool pool everyday. We played
mini golf. Logan came first, Dad came third, Mum came
last, I came second. It was fun. We had a yummy pizza on
it was cheese and ham. We got to play games. It was really
fun because we got a smoothie, it was yummy!

That night we had a barbeque. The next day was Christmas
Day. In the morning there were lots and lots of presents.
We got trash packs and I got a butterfly necklace. My
brother got books, so did I. The next day we went out for
lunch then went to my cousins house for dinner. Then we
went home and went to bed. The next day we drove home
again. Then we arrived home. It was fun to be on holiday
but I’m more used to home.

We also went to Caroline Bay Pool. Also we went
swimming, it was fun. My sister had fun. It was fun for all
of us, even me. I love it and then we had lunch at Burger
King, it was yummy. Everyone was very, very hungry.

There was a water playground and a river pool, and it was

Wii and then we went to the river. I drowned in the river, I

paddled and finally I got out. I got my towel wrapped
around me. Then I went in the river but I didn’t drown.
Then we went home in the truck. Then we were finally
home, I played the Wii there again and then Dad was here, I
got in the truck, then we went off.
