5 Critical Steps to Avoid Business Disruption and Accelerate Your SAP Project
Level: Business / Functional
The enterprise landscape is becoming increasingly complex and the use of cloud apps, mobile devices, and inmemory computing are transforming the way today’s companies do business. As a company adds new technologies
– SAP HANA, Fiori or cloud applications – or upgrades existing applications and systems, the need for quality
execution of business processes grows exponentially. How do you ensure that your SAP project is successful and
won’t interrupt business? While manual testing may once have worked to ensure the quality of systems and data,
today manual effort cannot keep up with the pace of change. Highly automated business process validation has
become a “must-have” rather than a “nice-to-have” solution. This presentation explains how global companies can
ensure quality business execution, achieve faster deployments of technology, and mitigate the risk that comes with
using HANA and other applications in an SAP landscape.
Floyd Scott, Worksoft
Why should my organization use Simple Finance?
Level: Functional / Business / S4 / HANA
With the launch of S/4HANA, many organizations are asking "Why should my organization use Simple Finance?" For
customers that want to transform their financial operations to be more agile and more aligned to organizational
goals, operate at a lower cost and reduce closing and re-porting time frames, this presentation will illustrate the
benefits of Simple Finance on the S/4HANA platform and the improved User Experience with Fiori mobile apps. The
session will also cover the non-disruptive migration path for existing SAP customers to S/4HANA and Simple Finance.
Charlie Davidson, FICO Senior Solution Engineer, YASH
Charlie Davidson is the SAP FICO Senior Solution Engineer from YASH Technologies. Charlie brings with him 10 years

Analyst where he built effective working relationships with the Finance community as well as having led several
projects and handled day-to-day support activities.

engaging presentation style and is skilled at creating solutions to business challenges.
Morgan Foods improves demand planning with simple, fast, and affordable forecasting and MRP cockpits
Level: Functional / Business / ECC 6.0 with SAP certified add-in: G.I.B Dispo-Cockpit Forecasting and Operations
Morgan Foods was presented with a challenge of improving demand planning across all materials and sales channels.
In an industry that experiences seasonal demands, short product lifecycles, heavy promotional and weather related
impacts; getting the forecast right can mean the difference between profit and loss. Roger Heaverin, Director of IT at
Morgan Foods, will share how he evaluated the options available for his supply chain and sales teams to improve
demand planning accuracy without complicating or adding cost to his IT landscape. He will explain the steps taken to
make the improvements within his organization, and the results he has seen so far. Supporting Roger, will be
itelligence Director of Supply Chain Planning & Optimization, Eric Jones. Eric will expand upon the options available to
SAP users today, and take questions.
