INVITATION
For participation in interlaboratory comparison and proficiency testing according to the
requirements of EN ISO/IEC 17043:2010.
Dear Colleagues,
PT provider UCLSB invites you to take part in Interlaboratory Technical Project MC
07/2014. Test subjects will be: Hardened concrete – Cubes 150x150x150 mm and Bitumen and
bituminous binders – Paving grade bitumen 50/70, according to the pointed standards and parameters
in the following table:

Each laboratory may participate with one or both of the products according to the filled
application form (QF 4.4-4).

For the purpose of calculation the uncertainty of the test and statistical analysis of the results we
ask you in cases where the test method requires determination of less than three results, still
their minimum number (of determination) to be not less than 3.

The samples will be taken, homogenized, reduced, tested for homogeneity and stability by one
of the subcontractors of PT provider UCLSB under its supervision.

The statistical analysis of the results and the report will be prepared by the technical expert of
PT provider UCLSB Associate Professor Eng. Ljubomir Brakalov.

Period of realization of the project: 01.2015 ÷ 06.2015 г.
Participation fee: The price for participation will depend on which country is the relevant participant
from due to the difference in the expenses for the delivery of the test sample. For more information
please use the contacts given in the end of this invitation for participation!
The participation fee includes: taking and reducing of the samples, preparing of the test subjects,
homogeneity and stability tests, packing, distribution, statistical analysis, preparing and receiving of a
report (QF 4.8-1) and a certification for participation (QF 4.9-1) in interlaboratory comparison and
proficiency testing.
NOTE:
You will receive the Report in Bulgarian but the table of results is all that matters after all and
the criteria have the same symbols all over the world so you will be able to understand how you
presented yourself in the PT scheme and your accreditation body will recognize the report even if
it is in Bulgarian cause you will have a code and all you have to do is see the results in the lines
where your code is written. However if you would like to have the report in English, it will cost
200 euros extra which will be equally devided between all the participants who ordered the
English version.
Application form (request for participation) QF 4.4-4 will be accepted not later than 28th of February
2015.
The participation fee should be transferred from 2nd to 16th of March 2015 on the following bank

ATTENTION!
 Interlaboratory technical project МС 01/2015 will be performed if minimum 5 participants
decide to participate for at least one of the parameters of the relevant product!
 Only participants whose participation fee is being paid till 16.03.2015 will be included in the
project!
You will receive a proforma invoice and after the transaction is made you will receive the original
invoice.
So if you would like to participate in the project, please fill the application form (QF 4.4-4 ) and send a
scanned copy to the pointed e-mail below not later than 28.02.2015!
You should send a scanned payment order for the made transaction to the same e-mail not later than
16.03.2015!
