It is one of the most popular forms of music in Brazil and is widely viewed as Brazil's national musical style. Some of the winning football stars are going to walk in front of the Samba band as they make their procession from Beech Avenue and they will be holding the Brazilian flag. The 1st part of this musical mission is to get the Brazilian flag made. You need to give the design to the team who are going to make it so you need to make sure all information is correct. On the next page is an outline of the Brazilian flag. Research the colours and ensure you colour it in correctly. The team making the flag want to know the meaning of the words on the flag. TASK C Swindon Advertiser wants to do an article about your musical mission and you have been invited to attend a question & answer session at the newspaper’s headquarters prior to the carnival at the weekend. The journalist has expressed a particular interest in the Samba Band and he wants to find out all about the culture of Samba music.
