WHO IS EDGAR ALLAN POE?
• Edgar Allan Poe is not only a creepy
cut-out in Mr. Giacche’s room, he is
also a writer of some really creepy
poems and short stories!
• He’s a perfect author to study for the
cold and dreary days of fall!

TASK
• Your final task of this webquest will be to choose 1
character trait which describes Edgar Allan Poe or
his life. You will then defend this decision using at
least 3 examples from today’s webquest. This will be
written in paragraph form.
• You will learn about:
• Edgar Allan Poe’s life and influences
• Different short stories/poems Edgar Allan Poe wrote
• How Edgar Allan Poe used the elements of horror
discussed yesterday to make his writing extra spooky
