Focus on reading Key words regular and irregular, Jolly Phonicsrecognising letter sounds (phonemes)/ actions and blending letters in
simple words.
Reading regular words with 4 phonemes ( e.g. tent and went) and other
polysyllabic words.
Writing
Writing for different purposes e.g- lists, cards, booklets, invitations,
news, imaginative play, messages using 4 phonemes (sounds) or more,
key words (irregular words), full stops and capital letters.
