WorkAbility Progress Update Word template that is consistent with new APTA Guidelines for

Defensible Documentation in Occupational Health.

Functional Capacity Eval. & Job Analysis Reporting: This seminar develops clinical skills for functional capacity evaluation and job analysis services that support objective determination of worker fitness-for-duty and consistency of effort. Attendees will have the opportunity to use the WorkAbility

FCE Word template as well as the eJobMatch web-based software for job analysis reporting and management of preferred provider resources.

This seminar meets an essential requirement for the following WorkAbility Certification options for occupational health professionals:

Applicants for designation as a Certified WorkAbility Therapist (CWT) must additionally document proof of acceptable coursework in ergonomic analysis/design applications and demonstrate competency with Functional Job Analysis and WorkAbility Progress reporting.

Applicants for designation as a Certified WorkAbility Evaluator (CWE) must additionally compete the Advanced Functional Capacity Applications Course and demonstrate competency with job-specific and general purpose FCE reporting.

Rick Wickstrom, PT, DPT, CPE, CDMS is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Professional Ergonomist, and Certified Disability Management Specialist. As President of WorkAbility Systems and WorkAbility

Network, Dr. Wickstrom has served industry for over 20 years as a consultant in occupational health and ergonomics. He has provided expert testimony and published many articles and technical papers related to functional capacity evaluation, work disability prevention and ergonomics. Dr. Wickstrom has dedicated his career to continuous improvement of occupational health systems and professional skills needed to assess functional job demands, evaluate worker fitness, and promote successful transitions from worker performance barriers to self-directed, physical wellness programs.

This course has lab practice activities. Internet access and compatibility with Microsoft Word version 2003 or higher are needed for FCE report template and WorkAbility eJobMatch applications.
