Regular Work
Each section will require the completion of 3x5 note cards. (See below for an example.) Completing the
note cards is not only required for a homework grade, but they will be vital come time to study for the
final exam. Each agenda will give you a new set of cards to complete. Do not procrastinate until the last
night, or you will find yourself faced with hours of work; complete them as we discuss them in class.
Note cards must be bundled with a rubber band and must follow the example below, or points will be
deducted.
Sample Note Card:
Full Name:


Date(s)
Title(s)
Major events and achievements.
You do NOT have to write in complete
sentences.
Please take these note cards seriously! Take the advice of a former graduate:
“I would have failed if I had not done the note cards.” –Leah Kearns
With the note cards, she earned an A.
In addition to the completion of note cards, you are expected, after each class, to up-date the map and
time-line provided to you at the beginning of the semester (refer to the above WHERE and WHAT
sections.) Regular evaluation and review are to be anticipated.
