Jeremiah 7:1–11
The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 2 “Stand in the gate of the
LORD’S house and proclaim there this word and say, ‘Hear the word of the LORD, all you
of Judah, who enter by these gates to worship the LORD!’ ” 3 Thus says the LORD of
hosts, the God of Israel, “Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in
this place.

The Temple of the Lord?
“Do not trust in deceptive words, saying, ‘This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the
LORD.’ 5 “For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a man and his neighbor,
6 if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor walk after
other gods to your own ruin, 7 then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and
ever.

Man-Made Religion that Allows for Licentiousness?
“Behold, you are trusting in deceptive words to no avail. 9 “Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery and swear
falsely, and offer sacrifices to Baal and walk after other gods that you have not known, 10 then come and stand before
Me in this house, which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—that you may do all these abominations? 11
“Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,”
declares the LORD.

Those who KNOWINGLY Suppress Truth?
Romans 1:18–21
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the
truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to
them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been
clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they
knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish
heart was darkened.

become my salvation.
22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone.

Isaiah 8:11–14
For thus the LORD spoke to me with mighty power and instructed me not to walk in the
way of this people, saying, 12 “You are not to say, ‘It is a conspiracy!’ In regard to all that this
people call a conspiracy, And you are not to fear what they fear or be in dread of it. 13 “It is
the LORD of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, And He shall
be your dread. Isaiah 14 “Then He shall become a sanctuary; But to both the houses of
Israel, a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over, And a snare and a trap for the
inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Daniel 2:44–47
“In the days of those kings [ toes of iron & clay] the God of heaven will
set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will
not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these
kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever. 45 “Inasmuch as you saw that a
stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it crushed the
iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold, the great God has
made known to the king what will take place in the future; so the dream
is true and its interpretation is trustworthy.”

Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face and did homage to Daniel, and gave orders to present to him an offering
and fragrant incense. 47 The king answered Daniel and said, “Surely your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings and
a revealer of mysteries, since you have been able to reveal this mystery.”
