Line
Illinois State Standards:

Students will identify the following geometric lines: straight, curved, and zig-zag
Students will identify the following organic lines: bumpy, wavy, and free-form shapes
Students will be able to use age-appropriate tools to draw: geometric shapes, lines, contour, textures and gestures
Students will recognize that the closure of lines creates geometric, organic, and free-form shapes
Students will recognize that line shows direction, contour/textures, and gestures

Students will recognize basic 2D shapes (circle, square, triangle, and rectangle) and relate them to 3D forms (sphere,
