The Sidney A. Ribeau President’s Leadership Academy is a four-year leadership development
program that prepares students to lead with integrity and make meaningful contributions to

fees.

Buick Achievers Scholarship Program
The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program recognizes and rewards 1,100 college-bound students
nationwide who EXCEL both in the classroom and who are making a difference in their communities.
What distinguishes the Buick Achievers scholarships is the magnitude of award – 100 students are
eligible for up to $25,000 per year (renewable for up to 4 years) which could amount to $100,000 over
four years!!
BURGER KING SCHOLARS PROGRAM: awards scholarships to students ranging from $1K to $50K,
and can be applied to tuition, fees or books required for course load, but must not exceed the student’s
educational costs.

Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan
Eligibility: All high school students in southeast Michigan are encouraged to submit an application for
scholarship funds. The Community Foundation manages more than 20 scholarship funds directly through a
single-step online application process. Every student in southeast Michigan is eligible for at least one of the
scholarship funds, but many are eligible for multiple funds.

Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Competition
Eligibility: High School seniors who are citizens of the U.S. and plan to attend a four-year U.S.

ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Math and Science Scholarship
Each year, a total of four scholarships will be awarded. Targeting African American and Hispanic
students, two male and two female awardees will be given $5,000 each. The scholarship will be paid to
the university of the student’s choice and can be applied to tuition and related expenses for the
upcoming collegiate year.

General Motors Endowment Scholarship
Scholarship preference is given to qualifying GM employees and children of employees. Endowments
provided to 37 schools. Ownership of the program is through the EEOC. Endowment funds are managed

Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship: recipients will receive a scholarship award of up to
$10K and an opportunity to attend the Google Scholars’ Retreat in Mountain View, California where they will
participate in workshops with other computer science students for three days.

Hallmark Mahogany & Blues Babe Foundation Scholarship Program: scholarship
awards of up to $10K will be given away, and includes an all-expense paid three-day workshop in Hallmark’s

Ithaca College Roy H. Park School of Communications Park Scholar Awards
Eligibility: This scholarship is for high school seniors who are accepted into Ithaca College. The Awards
are renewable for up to three years (for a total of four), covers the cost of attendance, which is (tuition,
room, board) per year and includes stipends for living expenses, books, and a one-time computer
purchase of $2,500.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Award
The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to not only address the
financial needs of minority students who aspire to attend college but also to guide them through the process

Microsoft BAM Scholarship
Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) is a company-sponsored employee network dedicated to supporting the
continued growth and development of black employees at Microsoft Corporation. This year, BAM will
award two US$5,000 scholarships to outstanding high-school seniors who are interested in pursuing
careers in technology. The scholarships are renewable, so winners who continue to meet the criteria can
receive an annual $5,000 award for up to four years.
Eligibility:







Be a high-school senior of African descent (for example, African American, African, or Ethiopian).
Plan to attend a four-year college or university in the fall of the year following high-school
graduation.
Plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems,
or select business programs (such as finance, business administration, or marketing).

Microsoft’s Women Scholarship/ Fellowship Program: consists of a scholarship award of
up to $15K plus a stipend toward conference and travel expenses for recipients to attend a conference in

President’s Scholarship-$38,000
Tuition and mandatory fees every year for four years (up to 136 credit hours). You will be invited to
interview for this competitive scholarship if you are currently ranked first or second in your class and
have a 24 or better ACT, or currently have a 3.70 or better cumulative GPA and a minimum ACT
composite of 28.
Founder’s Scholarship-$19,000
Half tuition and mandatory fees every year for four years (up to 136 credit hours). If you currently have

competitive scholarship.
Dean’s Scholarship-$12,000
$3,000 every year for four years. If you currently have a 3.00 or better cumulative GPA and a minimum

Cardinal Scholarship-$8,000

Thurgood Marshall College Fund Scholarships
TMCF are merit-based scholarships to students seeking financial assistance to further and complete
their education. Awards are made each semester and are based on a verification process designed to
ensure that academic expectations are being met and that there is unmet financial need.

Tom Joyner Foundation Scholarship: Students will receive full tuition and stipends for
up to 10 semesters to cover on-campus room and board and books. Students must meet the required
academic standards each semester to renew the funds each year. Graduating high school seniors can

UNCF Scholarships- UNCF manages various scholarship programs and each program has its own

Western Michigan University:

Medallion Scholarship: WMU’s Medallion Scholarship is the highest merit-based scholarship offered at
