Time in history-late 1800ths (the Victorian ages!)
Characters-Mae, Tuck, Winnie’s Grandmother and Mother, Winnie foster, the man in the yellow coat,
Miles, Jesse, and the constable.
Introduction to problemPrologue:
1. In the prologue three problems are happing but none are related yet.
2. There are two people living near and in the woods.
3. A kid named Winnie thinks of running away.
Chapter 4:

Winnie is catching fireflies by the gate.
A man with a yellow coat appears.
Winnie`s grandmother comes out and hears elf music.
Winnie`s grandmother sends them both flying into the touch-me-not cottage.
Chapter 5:

Winnie decides to go into the woods.
Winnie meet Jessie In the woods .
Winnie saw Jessie drinking water from the little creek.
Jessie and Winnie talk Winnie wants a drink(why?).
Jessie won`t let Winnie take a drink.
Than Jessie`s mother Mae and brother Miles show up and fear the worst.

Winnie thinks she has been kidnapped and her kidnappers are Mae, Jessie, Miles!
Winnie sees the man in the yellow suit.
Mae said “teaching our girl how to ride.”
Mae, Jessie, and Miles tell Winnie that they needed her help.
Chapter 7:

Winnie learns that the tucks lived forever.
Mae tells Winnie that the water would make her a little girl forever!
The water is the (and I quote) “fountain of youth.”
Miles is 109 years old! Also Jessie is 104 years old!
Chapter 8:
1. Jesse feels good to finally to tell someone.
2. Miles tells Jesse that he needs to take this more seriously.
3. The man in the yellow suit overheard the whole thing.
4. He follows them to the tucks house with a smile on his face.
Chapter 9:

Mae, miles, Jesse, and Winnie finally arrive at the tuck home place.
Winnie says “hey look! Water!”
Tuck comes out and says where’s the girl.
Mae shows tuck Winnie and says “this is angus tuck.”
Tuck is delighted to see Winnie “finally someone normal.” said tuck.

Winnie sees the tucks home.
Winnie is in shock that the house isn’t clean.
Winnie takes a tour.
There is three parts of the house the kitchen, the bedrooms, and the living room.
Winnie sees tucks shotgun.
Winnie thinks to herself maybe Mae thinks she has forever to clean or she just doesn’t care.
Maybe Winnie is thinking that ladies don`t need to be cleaning all day long maybe they can clean
only at a certain time in the month or year.

Chapter 11:
1. Winnie wants to go home.
2. Mae says that’s only natural.
3. Tuck takes Winnie out on the rowboat to take her home.
Chapter 12:
1. Someone stole the horse.
2. Tuck says “this is not some regular horse thief it has to be someone with a reason but who?”
Chapter 13:
1. the man in the yellow suit has the tuck`s horse!
Chapter 14:
1. The Tucks wonder who stole the horse.
2. Tuck says it’s no regular thief.
3. But someone with a reason.
Chapter 15:
1. the man in the yellow suit tells the fosters that the people who took Winnie are burly men.
2. In return he wants the wood .
3. The fosters thank the man and say goodbye!

Chapter 16:
The man in the yellow suit takes the sheriff with him when heading to the tucks.
The sheriff has a conversation with him.
The man in the yellow suit takes a joke to seriously.
The man in the yellow suit asks if he can go ahead father to “scout” a path.
The sheriff can see him little by little every mile.
Maybe he wants to try to get the sheriff away from him so the sheriff doesn’t find out who they
really are and so he can ask why he`s seen their faces and he wants to know why they haven`t
changed a bit.
Chapter 17:
1. Winnie wakes up for the second time but she says Jessie when she hears someone coming down the
steps but it turns out to be miles.
2. Miles asks Winnie if she`d like to go fishing for breakfast.
3. Winnie tells Miles that she’s glad the fish got away.
Chapter 18:

Winnie wonders if she should drink the water while she glances at Jesse.
Then there was a knock on the door.
It was the man in the yellow suit.
He told them that he was taking winnie home.
And he offered the tucks a job to help him market the magic spring water.
The Tucks declined the offer.
Chapter 19:
1. Mae yells out to the man in the yellow suit “you leave that child be!”
2. Mae grabs tucks long forgotten shotgun by the handle and swung at him.
3. The constable saw the whole thing.
Chapter 20:
1. The constable tells them that they charged for attempted murder.
2. The constable tells mae that she will be hung if the man in the yellow suit died.
3. Winnie goes with the constable to go home.
4. While mae goes to jail.
Chapter 21:

Winnie is now at home but she wants to be with the tucks.
Winnie`s parents ask questions about the “kidnappers”.
Winnie`s grandmother says “elves took her and bewitched her!”.
Winnie knows that mae should not go to the gallows.
It turns out that mae killed the man in the yellow suit.
Chapter 22:

Winnie sees her toad outside on the other side of the street and wants to give it some water.
Winnie`s grandma says nasty toads.
But then the frog had hopped away.
Winnie sees Jesse and he gives her a bottle of spring water.
Chapter 23:

Winnie tells her parents that it’s going to rain.
Winnie is waiting for midnight to hit.
Winnie has different thoughts about the tucks she thinks the tucks are crazy.
Chapter 24:
1. Winnie sneaks out to save mae.
2. The tucks are outside waiting.
3. Winnie and the tucks pry the bars off and mae is free.
Chapter 25:
1. Winnie saw her toad again.
2. A dog tried to play with the toad.
3. Winnie snatched the toad and pored the spring water on it.
Epilogue:
1. The cottage was torn down.
2. Winnie died.
3. Mae is not coming back to Treegap anymore.
