GOAL OF THE CHAPTER
• We will understand how ancient cultures & ideas have impacted our
modern world.
• We will understand the impact of civilizations & empires and how they have
helped shape our modern world.
• We will participate, discuss, and explore the chapter to expand our
understanding & knowledge. (And we will smile while doing so!...no?)
