 Capitalist Society
 English settlers could live off
their own land
 Spanish capitalist enterprises,
nonetheless, were limited by
traditional feudal systems,
especially from monarchs in
Europe. English settlements
adopted capitalistic societies
more fully, allowing the
production of land, labor and
capital to be privately owned
and sold for profit.
