Pros and cons about the book Things I liked about the book: It had a interesting story. The book isn’t that long. The story gave a lot of detail about the characters Things I disliked about the book: The ending wasn’t that exciting. They don’t say in what country or city they are in. No one shot their gun in this book. Words I have learned from this book Swagger - Walk or behave in a very confident and typically arrogant or aggressive way: “He swaggered along the corridor". Reddens - Make or become red: "bare arms reddened by sun"; “The sky is reddening". Disclose - Make secret or new information known: ‘’Disclose convictions will also need to be taken into account’’. Teleprompter - A device used in television and moviemaking to project a speaker's script out of sight of the audience.: ‘’ I’d lowered my voice and said the words as if reading them awkwardly off a teleprompter.’’ Newbie – Someone that is new to something: ‘’ I call the new employee a newbie’’. Gaping - Be or become wide open: "a large duffel bag gaped open by her feet"; "there was a gaping hole in the wall". Theme What I learned from this book is that you shouldn’t be afraid to ask someone something. What I also learned is that you should never rob anyone because you can get in deep trouble What I would change The only thing I would change about this book is the ending. The ending wasn’t very exciting. The only idea I have for how the author could have made the ending more exciting is if she made the robber shoot his gun. I was very disappointed that the robber didn’t get to shoot his gun. My review of the book The book ‘’Jacked’’ is a very entertaining book and in my opinion the book doesn’t have many cons. I would give this book a 4 out of 5. Favorite Character My favorite character in this book is Carlyle Dennison. The reason why is because: He is brave. He knows how to plan a robbery ( Which I think is pretty awesome). Sometimes he reminds me of myself. In my opinion he is the most interesting character in the whole book. He seems like a nice guy. He doesn’t freak out, but when he does he doesn’t go crazy.
