Dear Volunteer or Student,
We are very excited that you have expressed passion and interest in volunteering with the Worldteam
Foundation. Here’s what we are planning to achieve through your commitment and participation. Please pray
carefully about this and if you choose to partner in this vital work of rescue, intervention, healing and
restoration, then we welcome your application.
At the Worldteam Foundation we “Team Up for the Abolition” of slavery. We believe our freedom is not
enough. We must bring about the freedom of others. We love to build teams that set the captives free.
Description of Our Three Internship/Volunteer Staff Tracks
1. Research: Finding community resources and creating a database of service providers. Community
mapping and needs assessment of the vulnerable and exploited populations in the targeted
communities from Pasadena to Pomona. The Research Track will focus on the areas just mentioned in
order to produce functioning documents & databases that will serve the process of opening the SoCal
Restoration Center and engaging all community stakeholders in that process, including but not limited to
community service providers, law enforcement, education systems, businesses, faith-based
organizations, and any other organizations that can support this cause. Volunteers should commit to
one semester minimum, or 1 year as more productive.
Community Outreach: Working in collaboration with the Research Track, teams will be created to
contact all organizations and stakeholders in the targeted communities to inform regarding the vision of
the SoCal Restoration Center, engage in dialogue, elicit partnership in MOU’s to collaborate in
accomplishing the opening and functioning of the SCRC. Volunteers may commit to one semester
minimum; 1 year is optimum to launch the collaboration of the SCRC.
2. Inner Healing/Counseling/Mentoring: Teams will be trained in a model similar to Dr. Charles Kraft,
author of Deep Wounds, Deep Healing and Two Hours to Freedom, and other additional prayer and
counseling methods to encourage and enhance the inner healing, freedom and restoration of victims to
victors. Volunteers must commit to the training process of 6 weeks, participating as a client and as a
prayer team in order to experience and learn this process. Volunteers who wish to become leaders of an
Inner Healing team will be required to take additional training as a leader.
Prayer Team: Creating the SoCal Restoration Center is a huge undertaking that can only be done under
the power and leadership of the Holy Spirit, with enduring, prolonged, overcoming prayer. This is
spiritual warfare at its utmost and requires gifted, committed individuals who will be the marines in this
battle for victory from bondage that is physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
3. Development: This team helps raise funds through creating and promoting events, researching &
writing grant applications and cultivating monthly partners and large donors. Our events may be as
small as House Parties and as large as a Banquet. The Development Team helps add people to our
database and helps to implement our communications with our partners and their friends.
Social Media: Predators and perpetrators know how to use the Internet, Facebook, backpage.com and
twitter to get what they want. We need you to use your expertise in promoting Worldteam, the SoCal
Restoration Center and all of the opportunities to engage people in awareness, advocacy and ACTION to
stop slavery and restore ruined lives to wholeness. What can you do to help in this? Bring us your
expertise to get us viral and powerful. God wins and we will too!
