These are made of duct tape Day Two This day is developed around the idea that instructors are sharing stories and legends with their students. The stage can set by having students imagine the hideous weather or extreme elevation requires you to rest. During the long winter nights, and evenings around the campfire, one of the favorite forms of entertainment amongst the Mountain Men was storytelling and The story teller was granted license to stretch the truth in any way so long as the story was interesting. To have a reputation among mountain men as a "Liar" was an extreme compliment. However, the lives of the Mountain Men and Women are often so extraordinary that it isn't necessary to stretch reality in any way. Instead of one person running around to find everyone else, here the "seeker" (or "prey") stays put and the "hiders" (or "predators") sneak up on him or her. Obstacle? Of Course! Students participate in a fun obstacle course to see if they can balance like a goat, crawl like a snow leopard, jump like an ibex, and win a race to the finish! Day Four Home Sweet Dome! Make a Geodesic Den Domes are nature's perfect structure and provide a unique environment for every use. And inexpensive geodesic domes make great survival shelters for many different ecosystems! Students learn about domes and then build their own!
