Xylyx Billing
Xylyx Billing allows for the user to establish a Pay as You Use system based on time, money,
item or volume of a certain commodity. This system is especially useful in the utility charging
model where it completely removes the need for a separate billing platform.
Xylyx is a real-time automated transaction management system, so you can collect user data

The Xylyx service is a SaaS type service, giving your business high availability and
processing power for all business transaction needs. The Cloud means easy and pervasive
access for your systems, and it means no bottlenecks or capacity concerns.
Your transaction data are secure and efficiently passed across the cloud service. The cloud
offers all the benefits of digital business operation while minimizing the risks of server
outages or malicious intent/security issues.
The Java based environment of Xylyx ensures easy and simple integration for many types of
transaction needs and business systems whilst maintaining the highest levels of security. It is
common for most businesses using Xylyx to enable their transactional systems to
communicate flawlessly with Xylyx with only a few hours of integration work. So you can
integrate yourself or we can do it for you if that's easier.
When you sign up your business as a Xylyx user you will recieve the relevant API
(Application Programming Interface) specifications. This enables the programming team of
your business to create the necessary interface from your system to transact through Xylyx.
The Xylyx API is simple and easy to grasp, as all communication to Xylyx is done via data
strings exchanged as HTTP(S) traffic. Moreover, there is no need for any systems changes on
your internal business IT platform, as long as you can extract the order and billing details
needed for the payment transaction to be sent.
A number of integration modules already exist for various shopping cart and CMS tools
simplifying integration to Xylyx even further. If an integration module has not been
developed for the cart or CMS software you are using it may already be in development, your
own team may be able to develop it in a short period of time, or the module may be made
available by Xylyx as a small paid for programming project.
With Xylyx transaction capability your development team can focus on developing the IT
services and functions needed for your business. The clearly specified API (Application
Programming Interface) of Xylyx adheres to the OS (Open Source) environment. This means
that many integration modules and standard computer-to-computer integration issues are
easily solved, simply and in accordance with open market standards.
Most Xylyx customers require absolutely no programming or technical support from Xylyx
Ltd. when they initiate their business operations through the Xylyx service. This is what we
mean by no-cost development. It is entirely possible to use Xylyx for all your transaction and
money transfer needs without spending a single penny on programming services other than
those needed to your internal IT systems.
The only requirement is that your own IT system is able to generate transaction data - which
it already does, in one way or other. Take those data, package them in a standard string and
send it off to Xylyx once you have created your account.
Xylyx IPR and Licensing
The modern, java-based technology of Xylyx lends itself very nicely to integration into
computing environments of many different hues. Trading systems and user communities have
obtained licenses of the Xylyx Intellectual Property Right (IPR) enabling them to build entire
IT systems with Xylyx as an integrated element.
While Xylyx is generally available as a cloud-based service and accessible through a standard
API, it may deliver compelling technology or business results to acquire and deeply integrate
Xylyx into business system architechtures.
