The Mechanical Hound
In the novel Fahrenheit 451, a “living, but not living” creature is described in great detail. Your assignment is to draw and label the
mechanical hound according to the description in the book. You may use a computer/tablet/technological device rather than draw, but
it must be your own original! Obviously, everyone’s drawing will be different in some way; however, everyone will be following the
same description. Therefore, the “animal’s” features will be similar. The drawing must be as detailed as possible with correlating
labels. PLEASE USE COLOR since that plays a large role in the creature’s description. The first description is on page 24, BUT there
were more descriptions as we finished reading. You need to actually look through the book to find as many descriptions as
possible! Be creative and add a few features not mentioned in the book. These must fit with the style and real descriptions of the
creature; you cannot add things like a button that disperses happy meals  Sorry! Your rubric is as follows:
