Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center Our Center is devoted to providing consultative diagnostic and management services for patients with Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders and neurodegenerative illnesses. Most of our referrals come from general neurologists seeking a second opinion or assistance in the management of patients with complicated clinical problems, however, we are happy to see patients without physician referral. Our approach is to provide care that is both comprehensive and pragmatic, with a focus on treatments to improve daily functioning. Neurodiagnostic studies are utilized where indicated, with an emphasis placed on the diagnostic value of a detailed neurologic history and movement disorders examination. Our experience covers the entire range of movement disorders, with particular interest in Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, deep brain stimulation surgery, botulinum toxin injections, and tardive dyskinesia. Together with you and your family, we will design a comprehensive, coordinated, treatment program tailored to your needs and lifestyle.
