Prayer
for the
Year of Faith
and the
Eucharist
God our loving and
Almighty Father,
from the beginning of creation,
You have destined humankind
towards a life of love
and communion with You,
through Baptism, in Your Word
proclaimed, and in
the fraternal charity
we share with one another.
As we celebrate the Year of
Faith, and the Year Of The
Eucharist in our Diocese, grant
us the Spirit of conversion.
May we be renewed to
participate in the
mission of building up
Your Reign on earth.
Through Your Word
and Sacraments,
especially the Eucharist,
where we are uniting around
Christ’s Redeeming Cross,
nourish and carry us through
the challenges of life.
We profess with renewed
conviction and hope, the faith
we have received.
Let this faith be constantly
nourished by the Eucharist,
where its very mystery is
proclaimed.
Through our love for the
Eucharist, sustain us as we
courageously strive to love one
another as we witness to
Jesus Christ in our world today.
With Mary our Mother, the
Apostles and Your Saints, we
make this journey of
rediscovering our faith ever
more deeply.
Grant that we may faithfully
follow our Lord Jesus Christ, in
communion with the Holy Spirit,
who live and reign with You,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Confiteor
I confess to Almighty God and
to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned, in my
thoughts and in my words, in
what I have done and in what I
have failed to do,
[And striking our breast]
through my fault,
through my fault,
through my most
grievous fault;
[Then, we continue]
therefore I ask blessed Mary
ever-virgin, all the Angels and
Saints, and you, my brothers
and sisters, to pray for me to
the Lord our God.
Gloria
Glory to God!
Glory to God in the highest!
Glory to God!
Glory to God in the highest!
And on earth peace to people
of good will.
We praise You, we bless You,
we adore You, we glorify You,
we give You thanks for Your
great glory,
Lord God, heavenly King,
O God, almighty Father,
Lord Jesus Christ,
Only Begotten Son,
Lord God, Lamb of God,
Son of the Father,
You take away the sins of the
world, have mercy on us;
You take away the sins of the
world, receive our prayer;
You are seated
at the right hand of the Father,
have mercy on us.
For You alone are the Holy One,
You alone are the Lord,
You alone are the Most High,
Jesus Christ,
with the Holy Spirit,
in the glory of God the Father.
Amen.

Profession of Faith
I believe in God, the Father
almighty, Creator of heaven
and earth, and in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord,
[Bow]
who was conceived by the
Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin
Mary,
[Return from bow]
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was
buried;
He descended into hell; on the
third day He rose again from
the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand
of God the Father almighty;
from there He will come to
judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body
and life everlasting.
Amen!

HUWAG KANG MANGAMBA
Huwag kang mangamba
Di ka nagiisa
Sasamahan kita
Saan man magpunta
Ika’y mahalaga sa ‘king mga
mata
Minamahal kita, minamahal kita
HUWAG KANG MANGAMBA
Tinawag kita sa ‘yong
pangalan
Ikaw ay akin magpakailanman
Ako ang Panginoon mo at
Diyos
Tagapagligtas mo at
tagatubos
HUWAG KANG MANGAMBA
Huwag kang mangamba
Di ka nagiisa
Sasamahan kita
Saan man magpunta
Ika’y mahalaga sa ‘king mga
mata
Minamahal kita, minamahal kita
HUWAG KANG MANGAMBA
Sa tubig kita’y sasagipin
Sa apoy ililigtas mang din
Ako ang Panginoon mo at
Diyos
Tagapagligtas mo at
tagatubos
HUWAG KANG MANGAMBA
Huwag kang mangamba
Di ka nagiisa
Sasamahan kita
Saan man magpunta
Ika’y mahalaga sa ‘king mga
mata
Minamahal kita, minamahal kita
Ang sino man sa Aki’y
mananahan,
Mananahan din Ako sa
kanya.
At kung siya’y mamunga
nang masagana,
Siya sa Ama’y nagbigay ng
karangalan.
Mula ngayon kayo’y Aking
kaibigan,
Hinango sa dilim at
kababaan.
Ang kaibiga’y mag-aalay ng
sarili niyang buhay,
Walang hihigit sa yaring pagaalay.
Kung paanong mahal Ako ng
Aking Ama,
Sa inyo’y Aking ipinadarama.
Sa pag-ibig ko, kayo sana ay
manahan,
At bilin Ko sa inyo ay
magmahalan.
Mula ngayon kayo’y Aking
kaibigan,
Hinango sa dilim at
kababaan.
Ang kaibiga’y mag-aalay ng
sarili niyang buhay,
Walang hihigit sa yaring pagaalay.
Pinili ka’t hinirang upang
mahalin
Nang mamunga’t bunga mo’y
panatilihin.
Humayo ka’t mamunga nang
masagana,
Kagalakang walang
hanggang ipamamana.
Mula ngayon kayo’y Aking
kaibigan,
Hinango sa dilim at
kababaan.
Ang kaibiga’y mag-aalay ng
sarili niyang buhay,
Walang hihigit sa yaring pagaalay.

Prayer
to
Our Lady
Of
Candelaria
Ever Glorious and
Blessed Virgin Mary,
Queen of the Universe
and Mother of Mercy
chosen by the Father
to be the
Mother of His Son,
Jesus Christ.
I cast myself into
your arms
confident of finding
in your
most loving heart
peace and fulfillment.
O, treasure of
Divine Grace and
Refuge of Sinners,
be my guide and
inspiration in this
valley of tears.
O, fragrant
Lily of Holiness,
captivate my heart
and have pity on my
urgent request…
(mention your favor)
I ask this favor,
through that
love and humility,
which you showed at
the Presentation
of the Child Jesus
in the Temple.
O, Lady of Candelaria,
I thank the Lord
for having given you
to me, an unworthy
person, to be my own
mother who is worthy
of all my love.
Be always my
intercessor
before Jesus
for all the graces
necessary in my life.
Besides my personal
necessities, I also pray
for the members of
this Parish, our Church
leaders, and especially
our priests.
In our quest for
peace and
reconciliation,
please give us the
light to brighten our
path in this world
and lead us further
to everlasting joy
in heaven.
Amen!
Our
Lady
of
Candelaria,
pray for us!
