6th Year Biology Study Tips 
General Study Tips:











‘Less is always more’ – summarise the information given by using main headings,
sub headings, bullet points – 1A4 page/flashcard per topic
Make notes visual – illustrations, diagrams, graphs, colours, boxes
Aim at understanding - put notes in your own words
Repetition – build in a brief daily/weekly review of material covered
Mnemonics – Mr. Grief
Be Active – always have a pen and paper NEVER sit and read!!!
Organisation
Set your study goals and create a FLEXIBLE study plan
Take short breaks frequently
DO NOT study past bed time
DO NOT leave everything till the night before!!!
