1995 – 2015
Summary
Experienced IT professional. I have been enrolled in different enterprise level software
implementations, mainly in the CRM and BI areas. The customers I have worked for
include companies as Endesa, Vodafone, Telefónica, ING-Bank, BBVA and Uno-e Bank. I
have also run international projects in the EMEA area for well-known companies as
Telecom Italia, Banca Primavera, Koc Advertisement, BBC and TV-Cabo.
During 2002 to 2011 I played the Project Manager/Senior Consultant role in Vodafone and
Siebel/Oracle Iberia managing several on board assignment.
In the period from 2011-2014 I re-oriented professional career to sales and business
development areas. I joined Tibco Systems, Ltd as Spotfire Solution Consultant (Presales).
Currently I work as independent consultant specialized in Big Data. I love to help my
customer to identify the Big Data use cases that improve their business.

When I got exposed to Big Data concepts I found a new challenge, I decide to move
forward and I decided to become independent consultant in the Big Data area. I help
companies to identify use case, design and implement their Big Data projects. I started
integrating visual analytics tools with Big Data platforms in order to explode their data and
got valuable insight.
Also I started to present Big Data based economy in forums as Universidad de Málaga.
I created my blog (NoSoloBigData.com) in order to discuss around the Big Data universe.

low-income and long term jobless people. In this project I am responsible for developing
the Digital Economy contents and workshops. Concepts as digital identity, legal aspects of
the internet, social networks and media.
2011 – 2014

As a Solution Consultant I work in a multifunctional position. My responsibilities include
managing the technical sales cycle activities (PoC and PoV), attending to customer
meetings at CTO, CIO levels and different business area at direction level. Also takes
collaborating with Tibco marketing department in different marketing related activities as
product demos and presentations for different industries and marketing events as well as
managing several internal technical and educational activities.
I also participated in several marketing event across EMEA: London Energy Event,
Spotfire Essentials Event (Madrid 2012-2013),BI Gardner Event (Barcelona, 2013) ,Word
Economic Forum (Davos, Switzerland 2012), Barcelona WorldCom (Barcelona 2012)
I was a member of the Telco Expert Board for Tibco Worldwide Operations. This was a 7
member board to support the sales/pre-sales activities in the Telco industry for Tibco
Worldwide.
I took the presales role for LATAM, supporting the LATAM sales and presales team in the
Spanish speaking area.
During this period I got familiar with new emerging Big Data technologies as Hadoop Hive,
Mongo DB, Teradata Aster, Attivio and R.

mainly) projects for the sales department. I managed the internal customers and

Teradata DWH.
