PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Arc Creative is an in-house, innovation led, passionate team of professionals, dedicated to developing effective design solutions. Established in 2013, our current niche is the uber confident youth and education market. We’re looking to expand in

2014 and leverage our core competencies to develop a multi faceted creative agency.

Our parent company Arc @ UNSW Limited is an incorporated company limited by guarantee, governed by a Board of Directors of 13 people. The organisation operates as an NFP commercial entity to maintain financial viability and to provide student services and programs for members.

This position has budgetary accountability and needs to manage the work program for the position in a cost effective manner.

KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop new business and grow existing client relationships.

Managing the client brief from proposal through to implementation.

Assembling estimates, managing the budget, forecasting and generating invoices.

Meet and exceed revenue goals.

Working with our design team and ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.

 Deliver against set KPI’s including client growth and new business development

Completion of all project financial documentation (client set ups, invoicing) via approval system

Weekly, monthly and annual reporting on client projects.

Assist manager in the review of clients and projects to identify areas for growth to deliver strong financial outcomes for Arc Creative.

Educate clients on the full range of services offered by Arc Creative..

Undertake other tasks and duties as directed by the Manager

Comply with Arc WHS & Injury Management policy and procedures to actively participate in the achievement of a safe working culture;

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years of business development /account management experience in an advertising, creative or design agency.

A strong understanding of the creative process – both print and digital.

Experience in successfully identifying new business opportunities and overachieving targets.

Experience in pitching, estimating and writing proposals.

Ability to develop client presentations to win new business.

Brilliant organisation (multi-tasking and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is important), negotiation and sales skills.

Must be passionate about good design and illustration and be prepared to be an ambassador for our Brand and embrace our values.

Ability to work with precision and efficiency in a fast paced environment, attention to detail is key

Desired Criteria
