the LORD went before
them by day in a pillar of
cloud to lead the way, and by
night in a pillar of fire to give
them light, so as to go by day
and night.

it. When it stopped,
they stopped.

and in the middle of the night?
 The two pillars protected the Israelites from
the desert climate.
 The pillar of cloud during the day provided the
Israelites with shade from sun and helped to
cool the temperature down.
 The pillar of fire at night kept the Israelites
warm from the freezing cold weather.

Remember
•
God take care of us too.. although we don’t have a
pillar to guide us .. but we have the Holy Spirit (the
comforter) inside us.
•
We should trust that the lord will choose the best for
us.
•
We should keep our eyes fixed on God, as the
Israelites kept their eyes fixed on the two pillars and
didn’t get lost in the desert.
•
Christ knows what we need and will give it to us at
the suitable time
•
Pray and say, Lord Jesus, I thank you because you
care for me.”
