• AIA Contractor Self-Assessment (CSA)
Guideline approved by the PMC Members
on 6/8/2012
• Includes recommended process tests,
sampling plans and risk management
considerations
• Written to work in concert with DCMA
guidance and existing contractor CSA
programs

Subcontractor Control
• November 2011 an AIA PMC Subcommittee was
established with large subcontractors as members.
• Discussions were held on requirements being passed to
subcontractors that were outdated or over/above the
requirements set by government regulations.
• Major prime contractors joined the subcommittee to
provide input to practices at their companies.
• Survey questions were developed and AIA distributed to
voting PMC members on 4/27/12. SurveyMonkey was
used as electronic tool to gather responses.
• Currently results are being analyzed to determine if ILP
and/or subcontract T&C template should be written.
