Everyday things you can do to help your child:
FLASH CARDS 5-10 minutes nightly
Estimate cost/total of items at the store, count money, tell time on an analog clock,

Conduct
Conduct codes will be written in the planner.
Parent must initial each code.
All graded work will be sent home in Tuesday Folders, so please go over them with your
child. Any daily work or quiz below 75 can be corrected and returned. I will then
average the grade with the corrections and raise the grade to a max of 75.
Homework
Homework goes on Friday- (I cannot send early due to traveling.)
Always both a Math and Reading packet
Parents help Check and initial on Wednesday evening
Look on LWE 3rd Grade Website (not my website) for answer key
Students/parents check work in red pen and make corrections in red pen.
Parent initials in red pen at the top of both packets for credit.
Due on Thursday 8am
100%: if turned in on time, checked, and initialed
75% if turned in without checking or or parent initals.
Late/incomplete work (-25 points per day) will result in losing 25 tickets and extra
recess.
*Spelling HW is extra credit of 6 tickets due Thursday. There is a list of spelling
practice ideas in your child’s master binder.
