For those with SDFSC grants, some
things stay the same……
Program Support Structure
• State staff are assigned to each county (reference “Analyst Assignments
by County”)
• A dedicated TA contract (CPI) is in place. TA requests should
be coordinated through CPI.
• Quarterly Claims
• Quarterly progress reports
• Revision process – any changes should be discussed with
your PSD county analyst PRIOR to implementing them.

• Evaluation component and contractor (CSULB)
• Other support services - WestCAPT
• Planning process for first year with specific
activities and deliverables

Process Indicators for Progress
During Phase I (Year 1)
• Work with PSD county analyst
– on completion dates for deliverables – completion and
approval must be achieved prior to progression to Year 2
– Submission of progress reports and claims – need to be on
time and include sufficient information for monitoring
• Community Partnership involvement and activities
• Work with SIG TA provider - CPI
• Engage local evaluator
• Work with CSULB (statewide evaluator) on data reporting

Next Steps for SIG Grants
• Work with your PSD county analyst to get NOGA in
place (finalize workplan & budget; submit for
signature approvals)
• Participate in conference call regarding quarterly
progress reports (to be scheduled)
• Proceed with your Phase I activities
• Utilize TA services
• Ask questions if you have them!

Claim Forms
Some reminders
) Email a copy of claim form to your PSD county analyst
2) Attach approved invoices for all contractual services
3) Claim forms should match the grant approved line item
budgets.
4) Only folks who sign the NOGA may sign a claim
