FEATURES OF A PROGRAM “SET SYSTEM”
• Students are in cohorts (called Sets) for each year of their program.
• Courses and timetables are preset – you pick the diploma program, not your
courses.
• Workload is much heavier than in most other programs (21-30 hours per
week, 7-10 courses taken simultaneously).
• Courses are highly focused on your field of interest.

PART TIME STUDIES
• Course-by-course registration.
• Available at Burnaby and Downtown
Vancouver campus, and through online
learning.
• September, January, and April intake.
• Flexible schedule allows for program
completion in as little as 12 weeks or a
maximum of seven years.
• Also offer intense week-long or weekend
options.
• No entrance requirements.
• Cost per course is $400-$800.

PROGRAM DECLARATION
• Program declaration is required if students intend on completing a part-time studies
program.
• Provides an outline of courses required to earn a part-time studies credential.
• Guarantees credit should the program change.
• Form can be submitted via email, mail, in-person, or fax.
• Students are not required to receive their program declaration letter prior to
registering for courses.
