Your child’s class will be having a
Valentines Party on Friday, February 12th.
Friday, February 5th we will be sending
home a class list for those of you who
want to do valentines for you child’s class.
We will also have a sign up sheet for
snacks and party items needed for our
Valentine’s Party. The sign up sheet will
be located next to the sign in/out
computer.
With the new year here we will be
putting new emergency cards in your
child’s mailbox. Please be sure to fill
them out and return them to the office
as soon as possible.
Please be sure that when your child
comes home with a daily sheet that you
check for items they may need. Such as
extra clothes, diapers, pull-up’s and
wipes. Also, please check your child's
cubbies and hooks for soiled items that
need to go home.

Happy February! Heart Day will be
here before you know it and I hope
everyone has a happy, healthy
heart to start the new year with.
Our babies continue to grow, Elijah,
Kalum, and Liam are starting to
count and say a hand full of words.
That has everyone very excited!!
We will continue to sing our ABC’s
and count daily because they love it
and are learning very fast! We will
have special things planned around
Valentine’s Day, so look forward to
lovely gifts from your beautiful
little ones!
Toddler News
By: Ms. Sarah & Ms. Jami
Hope you are all enjoying a fabulous
February! This month toddlers are
beginning the ‘I’m Growing’ section of
our curriculum. We will be learning
about how we grow, our body parts and
what there are for. We will be doing a
class growth chart to see how big we
are. In a month or so when we finish
the ‘I’m Growing’ curriculum we will
measure ourselves again to see just
how much we have grown in a short
time!
The week of Valentine’s Day our class
will be doing lots of Valentine’s crafts.
Please look out for those on Friday,
February 12th!

This month we will be celebrating
Valentine’s Day with a card exchange
and a party. Please check file folders
for a list of children's names! Also, we
will be learning about air & wind, color &
light, and magnets. We have been
working on spelling and writing our
names as well. Please check your child's
cubbies and bring extra clothes, pullups, etc. as needed.
Thank you,
Mrs. Sandy & Mrs. Brandee
15 Ways to Make Your Little One Feel
Special
1. Ask caring questions each day: How was
your Day? Did you take a good nap?
2. Tell your child you love him at least once a
day.
3. Wear whatever "jewels" your child makes
or buys for you. Display his artwork; use his
clay vases and bowls.
4. Get excited when your child tells you about
his day or latest accomplishment. Nodding
your head is not enough.
5. Request a "kid fix" (a hefty hug and kiss)
whenever you feel the need, and let your child
know it makes you feel better.
6. If you're out for the evening, call in a
goodnight kiss and promise an in-person one
as soon as you return.
7. Sing while she plays; play while she sings or
dances. Duets are very supportive, often
memorable, and usually hilarious.
8. Use the mail to surprise your child with a
comic book, funny card or fancy pencil.
9. Ask your child what was the best and worst
part of his day -- every day.
10.Put a note in her lunch box that says, "I
love you."
11. Keep a chair next to your desk so your
child can visit or chat.
12. Ask about your child's friends regularly.
13. Prepare the grocery list together, and ask
your child for dinner suggestions.
14. Compliment your child and let her
overhear you complimenting her to someone
else -- a relative, friend or neighbor.
15. Do something ridiculous: Chase your child
through the house or start a pillow fight.

MOST IMPORTANT –
We are in need of extra clothes at the
center! Our need is for 2T-5T for
both boys and girls. We often have
children that need to change into clean
clothes and we have none available, so
if you have anything extra that you
could donate it would be much
appreciated!! Also please remember to
have a spare set of clothes for your
child in their cubby.
Please remember to clock your child
in and out everyday. This helps us
keep track for billing and food
servicing purposes.
Please report any changes to
addresses and or phone numbers
for home, cell and work.
