A. PRE-LISTENING ACTIVITY
 Go to Pre-listening exercise and discuss with your partners.
 Read the helpful tip and find a difference between American Instruction vs.
Colombian instruction.
 Get familiar with the idioms on the left of your quiz page.
B. LISTENING EXERCISE
a. Read the questions given. Do not mark any answer.
b. Listen to the audio and identify the main idea of the conversation.
c. Listen again and answer the given questions.

d. Listen one more time and check your answers. You can stop the audio as you answer
your questions.
e. Open “Quiz Script” and read as you listen to the text.
f. Do the Text Completion Quiz. If you made mistakes, repeat your exercises.

C. POST-LISTENING ACTIVITY
a. Record your participation in the VOICETHREAD. Follow these steps
 Carry out the registration process. Pay special attention to the mail and
password.
 Listen to Randall’s instruction by clicking either on the play button or his
picture.
 Get familiar with the adverbs as you listen to the explanation.
 Record your comment using the adverbs of frequency suggested in the
explanation and the idioms studies previously.
D. VOCABULARY – ORAL DISCUSSION PREPARATION
Write your personal thoughts in which you describe a day a school. Include this vocabulary
in your writing.
Crack the books, cut class, and verbs and adverbs suggested in the voice thread.
