Involved in several projects for schools in the South East which included the following; Installed Windows 2008 R2,
VMware 5.1 and SAN from the ground up. Installed and configured ESXi Hypervisor. Installed and configured HP
P2000 iSCSI SAN using Telnet and HP Management Utility (involving creation of LUNs) with two switches to 3 ESXi
Servers. Using vSphere Client presented to ESXi servers by creating VMware iSCSI storage adapter and configured
storage, created VMware Kernel and Virtual NICS for network and vMotion. Installed and configured vCenter Sever
with creation of Datastore and Cluster with HA and DRS. P2V migration of existing Exchange Server. Installed and

Adobe Flash Player via GPO’s to the CNWL estate of over 3,500 desktop PC’s and Laptops. Scanning of network
for software identification with scripts. Working with the ICT Service Manager for site visits to ascertain working
practice and hardware usage. Installation and update of NHS software silently via usage of third party tool.
Testing of GPO’s and updates with VMware virtual server test environment. Administration and creation of
VMware servers including DELL SAN. Assisted with project to build and use Windows WSUS server to update 49
Windows Servers and 30 Domain Controllers. Remediation of underlying Novell network password issues and
removal of Netware and e-directory. Support of physical and virtual Wintel environment and VMware hosts

Windsor is a Lloyd’s insurance broker. The IT division supports 220 staff in 7 locations
Infrastructure based around 42 Microsoft 2003 & 2008 Servers, including 20 Citrix Servers and a VMWare based
Disaster Recovery system running on 13 Microsoft 2003 servers and HP NAS and SAN environments. There are
additional applications running on a Microsoft SQL Server, such as Crystal Reports. Users access the system using
Hewlett Packard “thin clients”. 14 Xerox Workcentre copier scanners and 40 HP printers. Users have Blackberry
smartphones
Worked independently alongside 2 colleagues, and reported to the IT Senior Partner dealing with all aspects of day
to day IT infrastructure support services to the business in a very hands-on environment. Also supported and travelled
