Summer Assignments: 2014
Summer Assignments are both a requirement and an enrichment opportunity for IB
students. The reading and learning enable students to start the 2014-15 school year at
a proper pace and focus, as well as provides students to earn early course credit
toward 1st quarter grades.
Grade 9
English:
“Bride Price” by Buchi Emecheta
an unabridged version of Buchi Emecheta's Bride Price, which runs
approximately 168-177 pages, (not the blue elementary school version).
