Position: Pediatric Physical Therapist FT
Job Description:
Milestone Pediatric Therapy Services, Inc. is a privately owned company that provides Early Intervention
Therapy Services to children mainly ages 0 to 3 in the Greater Denver Area. Our team of Pediatric
Professionals provide physical therapy and occupational therapy in a child’s natural environment. The
therapy is play-based and follows a Parent Coaching Model. By contracting with local Community
Centered Boards in the Greater Denver Area, our therapists are able to assist families throughout Adams,
Jefferson, Park, Gilpin, Denver, Arapahoe, and Douglas counties, making a direct positive impact on a
family/child’s life and providing therapy services while coaching parents to become better advocates for
themselves and for their children. Apply today!
Principal Responsibilities Include:

Provide ongoing physical therapy services to infants and toddlers in their natural environment
(home, daycare, park, etc.)

Utilize a family-centered approach based on a Parent Coaching Model

Implement a treatment plan in accordance with goals/outcomes listed on child’s IFSP
(Individualized Family Service Plan)

Work with a Transdisciplinary Team in order to monitor all areas of development such as sleep,
feeding, dressing, social-emotional skills, language skills, fine / gross motor skills, and cognitive
skills

Consult and collaborate with other medical, psychiatric, or school professionals to provide the
best treatment plan possible

Support the family and the child in all of the family’s daily routines (e.g. bedtime, feeding,
dressing, and/or play-time routines)

Schedule weekly, bimonthly, or monthly visits with the family which take place in the child’s
natural environment

Attend monthly team meetings

Provide PT consults to children in the Early Intervention Program when needed or as your
availability allows

Request consults from other specialty areas as needed

Submit electronic invoices to Milestone Pediatric Therapy Services, Inc. at the end of each month
- invoices shall detail services provided and dates of service

Protect the confidentiality of clients at all times

Store client files in a HIPAA compliant manner

Provide documentation of visits and progress on IFSP goals

Report any incidences of abuse or neglect to Terra and then to the appropriate CPS, law
enforcement and service coordinator at the community centered board
Job Requirements:
 Qualified to treat the pediatric population
 Ability to travel to the child's location
 Strong organizational skills / Self-motivated / Make your own schedule
 Physical Therapy Degree
 Professional License in Physical Therapy (State License)
 Professional Liability Insurance
 HIPAA Insurance ($50,000 per incident / $50,000 aggregate)
 Proof of Auto Insurance
 Current CPR Certification
 Background Check (to be completed by Milestone Pediatric Therapy Services, Inc.)
 Must be willing to complete trainings as needed by the Community Center Board (IFSP, Child
Outcome Summary Form, Autism, HIPAA training, etc.)
About the Company: Our goal is to support children and families where they need it the most and to
help each child reach his or her fullest potential. In addition to providing ongoing therapy services, we
also provide therapy consults which support the primary therapist in the home. To better support the
family, we additionally provide community resources and guidance for caregivers, siblings, school
personnel, or other people who are present in the child’s life.
Locations Served: We serve children who qualify for Early Intervention services through DDRC (Develo
pmental Disabilities Resource Center), Developmental Pathways, and Rocky Mountain Human Services.
Our areas of service include the cities of Denver, Sheridan, Englewood, Centennial, Littleton, Highlands
Ranch, Parker, Sedalia, Franktown, Larkspur, Castle Rock, Aurora, Arvada, Westminster, Wheat Ridge,
Golden, and Lakewood.
