Lysosome
Lysosomes are vesicles in all cells,
which contain digestive enzymes that
can break down the wastes contained in
the vacuoles.
 It works as a cleaning system for cells
and factories.
 The Lysosome is located in the
cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells.

A fun fact about Lysosome

The single-layer membrane protects the
rest of the cell from the harsh digestive
enzymes that would otherwise harm the
cell.
Vacuole
The vacuole is an organelle
that is found only in plant
cells.
 It is responsible for
maintaining the shape and
structure of the cell.
 Plant cells don’t increase in
size by expanding the
cytoplasm, rather then
increasing the size of their
vacuoles.

A fun fact about the Vacuoles
Vacuoles also help maintain a steady
pH.
 The pH is acidic.

