mythology).

• Has close connections with
the Roman Catholic Church.

in the world.

Chichen Itza
• Located in Yucatán,
Mexico
• A pre-Columbian city
bulit by the Mayans.
• One of the largest
Mayan city.
• Believe to be founded as
early as 600 CE.
• Mexico’s second most
visited archaeological site.
