The joys of public speaking! Prepare a three to five minute speech regarding one of three topics (each to
be explained in more detail in class): 1.) an object that has great meaning for you; explain why; 2.) an
experience that led you to a new understanding of some sort; 3.) a description of a remarkable person
you know. (The last option should be focused on the positive.)
