15. Plasma – pale yellow and made
mostly of water. It carries nutrients
to the cells of the body.
Red blood cells – carry oxygen to all
cells in the body and carry carbon
dioxide to the lungs
White blood cells – work with the
immune system to keep you healthy
Platelets – Help the blood clot or
thicken to form a scab
