ASL II Students,
Here is the study guide you will need to follow to prepare for ASL II Semester II
exam on May 20th, 2015.






All Units from 14 to 17 on all given handout. If you lost them, please go to
the ASL II website > ASL Lessons > whatever unit number you need to
print out the handout.
Please use all quiz and test papers to study through.
There will be 80 questions worth 1.25 points each (no curved grade
given). 55 videotaped ASL vocabularies, and 25 general multiple choice
questions with 4 possible responses.
Please bring your laptop. You will need it for videotaped ASL vocabularies
to be displayed on the ASL II website.
You will need to familiarize things:
o Inflections for Temporal Aspect
 Uninflected
 Recurring inflection
 Continuous inflection
o Spatial Agreement
o Cardinal Numbers from 1 to 1000
o Ordinal Numbers (ranking, order, label, etc.)
o Clock and Money Numbers
o Transitions of Lifetime Events (for example…Jose’s Life Story)
o Immigrants and Foreign Countries
o Describe and Identify Things (ASL Classifier)
o Understand the use of ASL Personal, Possessive and Self
Pronouns.
o Converstations of Wh-word Questions
o Agreement Verbs
o Narrations and Transitions
o Story Corners
o Deaf Stories (Civil War, TTY History, Alarm Clock, etc.)
Just go through the ASL II website at http://asl2bhs.weebly.com to find
ASL Lessons from Unit 14 to 17 and ASL Vocabularies Review. Just study
through a number of powerpoint presentation files.
This should help you get prepared for the semester exam. Please let me know if
