Cohort size: 168 students
 59% achieved 5A*-C with English and Maths in 2015 – a 10% increase on
2014
 In the top 9% of schools nationally for “Value Add” (the main national
progress measure) in 2014
 Average grade achieved by students joining on KS2 L5s is an A- in their
“Best 8” GCSEs (17% of cohort)
 Students joining on KS2 L3s and 4s make progress considerably above
national results in their “Best 8” GCSEs
 21 subjects achieved above 70% A*-C at GCSE, and in 15 subjects over a
third of grades were A*/A
 Over 50% of grades achieved at A*/A in Biology, Chemistry, Physics –
taken by 20% of the cohort. 50%+ A*/A in Additional Maths
 Outstanding progress made in English in 2014 and 2015 – 84% of
students making expected progress in 2015
 76% of the cohort making expected progress in Maths in 2015 – above
national in 2014 and 2015
 Outstanding individual performances include Adam 11A*s , Gaby
9A*/2As, Elizabeth 7A*/4As, Keji 5A*/6As

Haggerston Sixth Form – Improving A-level performances as the 6th Form
grows
An inclusive Sixth Form offering a range of KS5 courses including BTEC
Pathways, Combined GCSE/A level Courses and a 4 A-Level Pathway. The Sixth
Form now has around 100 students having only started in 2011.
