Yet He found; I beheld Him bleeding on the accursed
tree, And my wistful heart said faintly,
“ Some of self, and some of Thee.”
 We often times do not stop to think about others
instead we make sure we have what we need first
Selfish
 Ananias and Sapphira
 Act 5:2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also
being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it
at the apostles' feet.
 Act 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled
thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back
part of the price of the land?
 Act 5:4 While it remained, was it not thine own? and
after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why
hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou
hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
 Act 5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down,

Day by day His tender mercy Healing , helping full and
free.
Brought me lower while I whispered,
Less of self, and more of Thee
King Agrippa
 Act 26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost
thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
 King Agrippa was walking the line. Just not ready to
take that step.
None of Self
Higher than the highest heavens, deeper than the
deepest sea, Lord, Thy love at last has conquered,
“None of self, and all of Thee.”
 Peter says Luke 22:33 And he said unto him,
Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison,
and to death.
 Paul says 2 Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be
offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
Conclusion
 All of self, and none of Thee.
 Some of self, and some of Thee.
 Less of self, and more of Thee.
 None of self, and ALL OF THEE.
 Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
