Not following directions/ Defiance
#1 Alicia redirected 6 times and choose not to follow
directions. Kept putting head down and would not do what
the group was doing.
#2 Big Al didn’t move when I asked. He was assigned a
different seat because he was not doing his BEST yesterday.
Student told me “You told me I had to sit here yesterday!”
“Why do I have to move again?” Very disrespectful!
#3 A sub was in class for me today. Johnny was disruptive
and was not doing what he was supposed to do when the sub
was here so I sent him to ISS today (when I got back) so
that Marjorie could take care of it.
#4 Elizabeth came into class today and sat down. When I
asked her to begin taking the quiz, she kept saying why do
we have to do this? I don’t want to. We take quizzes every
week.
#5 Mr. Sodomka told two girls that they were violating a
rule that they had to walk and talk. Students continued to
stand in there and talk rather than going toward their
classroom. When they approached my class, I sent them to
ISS.
#6 Joe walked into class and was asked to get his notebook.
He sat down and I repeated it again. Slowly he started
walking to get it. I have had enough of the behavior. He
needs to follow directions when I ask.
# 7 I asked Jonnel to bring proper materials to class
everyday. Everyday he comes in he does not have his pencil
or paper. He is not prepared for school. Today I had it
and sent him to ISS.
Disrespect
# 1 I asked Mercedes to sit down; she was told twice. I
told her I don’t want to see you anywhere else. Student
mimicked “I don’t want to see you anywhere else!” Very
disrespectful. I sent her out.
#2 Katie and Janet were in the classroom and having a back
and forth conversation argument about who was better than
the other. Katie said to Janet, “Oooooh I’m gonna kill
you.”
#3 Mr. Big Boy: Students were working in groups on a math
assignment during group work time. They know that are only
supposed to talk to group members. Yasin shouted out, “Man
that b**** don’t even know what she’s talking about, she is
trippin.”
#4 Mr. Adams: Today in class we were doing an activity in
which student were supposed to try to do things on their
own. I was helping another student at the time. She kept
shouting out my name then finally then said to me, “See you
never help people. You are always helping other people
before me. I’m tired of this sh**! That’s why I don’t even
like you.”
#5 Mr. Thanksgiving: Students were entering class and the
bell had rung. I was finishing a conversation with another
teacher in the room from last period. Students are supposed
to begin their learning log right away. Gina said
#6 Mr. Jay-Z: Students had been what appeared to be
wondering in the halls and came to class late. When I
asked where his pass was, he said, “I don’t have to give
you a pass, I am a senior! I am grown.” This is
unacceptable. Sent them both to ISS.
Disruption:
#1 Larry was sent out of class for telling Miranda in class
that she better keep his name out of his mouth.
#2 Ms. Jones: sent Big Wayne down for using inappropriate
language in class. He said “You got me f***** up.” School
has been in session
for two weeks and he has had multiple referrals. He was
dismissed from school for this.
#3 Amanda was continually talking out in class. I talked to
her several times today. She said things like “Shit, I’m
not doing that.” That’s why I hate this school.”
I sent
her out.
#4 P-Ditty walked into the class with gum. He knows that
gum is not allowed in my class. I sent him out.
#5 Rashida and Dontrell were laughing out loud
uncontrollably in class.
#6 Wanda and Toni were not sitting in assigned seats.

Play-fighting/ physical
#1 Students were doing a math lesson in class and were
asked to move to group work. They were given specific
instructions to work with their own groups and stay in
their seats. Kloe got up and went over to get a marker
from another group and hit P-Ditty on the back of the head.
Physical behavior is not acceptable. Kloe was sent to ISS.
# 2 Two boys from Mr. Obama’s class were in the halls as
the bell was ringing. They began tripping, and what looked
like punching each other. They were laughing and horsing
around. I told them they needed to report to ISS.
# 3 Fonda was sent out of class for flinging paper with
rubber bands on the floor. I sent her to ISS.
#4 The girls started arguing over a pencil in class.
Laquanda flinched at Jessica. Both girls looked as if they
were sort of laughing but other students see this and think
they are going to fight. I sent them out.
#5 Jammer and Jammin were out in the hallway play-fighting
and asked by a staff member to stop. Play fighting paused
but then they continued to fake swing at each other. They
came into class all riled up. I sent them out.
#6 Mr. Ripper: Students were taking a test, Jameson wanted
to use the bathroom. I asked him to quietly write a pass
and instead he turned around and batted Timmy in the face.
I told him then that I would not write him a pass because
he was not doing what he was supposed to do. He then
became more disruptive saying he would call his mom.

Inappropriate language
#1 Mr. Clean: I was about to begin teaching my English
class and I overheard Rafael and Michelangelo talking about
the paper they were asked to write. Rafael said bump this.
That’s why I hate this mother f****** class. I sent him
out.
Two girls were talking before class started You don’t even
know what I will do. All ya’ll don’t know what I am
capable of. I could take you out.
Ha ha ha I’ll b**** slap you
We are going to be going on an outdoor field trip but that
it was going to be cold so bring coats. “That’s booty”
Gossip spreading rumors
Yeah Dana said she knows you don’t know how to fight. She
said you were scared to fight.
I was teaching and toward the end of class, the students
had a few extra minutes to talk. Two girls began talking
about something that happened outside of school. The
conversation went something like this. “Why don’t you pay
back Shantell’s money. You know you owe her five dollars.
No I don’t. It was Shawna who owes her money. I don’t
care who owes it to her. Shantell said she would beat her
down if she doesn’t pay it back. I don’t care, I am not
scared of her.”
Mr. Kardahsian’s class: Iesha came in complaining very
loudly and said “I am tired of Lil John’s girlfriends
looking at me like I am crazy. One of these days oooh.
am going to get her.” I sent her to ISS for making
threats.
