a) Describe the nature of development in terms of technology to be used. Some questions to consider
are:
 Is the project focused on developing learning materials for students to access? If so, are the
materials interactive?
 Is the project focused on supporting students’ interactions by communication technologies?
 Is the project focused on formative assessments through cases or quizzes?
 Is the project focused on summative assessments through cases or quizzes?
b) What benefits do you expect as a result of the project? These might be benefits in terms of:
 learning outcomes (understanding abstract or complex concepts, practising important skills,
developing language skills, developing team work, etc.);
 efficiency (marking time, organizing files, ready access to up-to-date information, etc.); and/or
 pedagogy (flipped classroom, blended learning, etc.)

 The evaluation plan needs to be closely linked to the project objectives. Possible strategies to use
are student surveys, focus-group interviews, scrutiny of web logs, teachers’ reflections,
examination of students’ assessments.
