Read Ch. 90-98 and discuss the way Patterson uses real-life settings to create suspended
disbelief in this novel. Take notes on characters in order to work towards identifying
them as flat/round/static/dynamic. Determine if any can be classified as flat, round, static
or dynamic.

Make predictions, summarize, recall and infer to demonstrate reading comprehension.
Analyze characters and their interactions with one another.
Procedures:

Review Vocabulary for Section IV
Begin outlining the plot, identifying the exposition and rising action.
Make predictions about what will happen to propel the reader to the climax.
Read Ch. 99-109 and discuss.
Reflect on predictions - Have any of them come true? Do you think that they will
eventually? What do you think will happen next based on what you’ve read?

We will be going to the computer lab for a presentation on OCIS from Auburn Career
Center. This will be a precursor to our Career Research Paper assignment, which we will
begin after Thanksgiving Break.

on Friday and how they will use the knowledge.
SSR for 10 minutes
Brief discussion to determine if we have reached the climax of the novel or not.
Determine which characters are round or flat.
Continue reading Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment. Create a timeline of important
events from the reading.
