Driving time and rest period:

Drivers must have 10 hours rest period each night. If using the LDC (long distance coach) until midnight, LDC
cannot start next day before 10:00 Hrs.
Driver DUTY period each day cannot exceed 9 hours except 2 days per week when DUTY period can be
extended to 12 hours.
Full details of EEC (European) drivers regulations can be provided on request. It is the tour escort’s duty to
ensure that drivers regulations are not broken.

Reservation for accommodation and coach:

At time of quotation, no reservation has been made. Reservation will commence only when we receive your
acceptance of our quotation together with your deposit. Every effort will be made to confirm the
accommodation, land arrangement of your choice. However, during peak season, it may be necessary to use
similar accommodation.
Minimum group size:
In case the minimum group size may not be reached, the calculation will have to be adjusted and thus the touring
price per person will change accordingly.
After providing you with the Secured Payment Certificate a deposit of 25% of the tour price is required within 21 days
of confirmation. Final payment is due the latest 45 days prior the beginning of services.
Please note that all bank charges are to your account. A copy of the bank transfer is to be emailed/ faxed to us at the
latest 45 days prior to the beginning of services.

Revision of booking are subject to a fee of US$40 per booking (except for simple additions).
Cancellation policy:
Cancellation has to be made in writing and is only valid with a written cancellation confirmation Herod Travel.
Cancellation fees will apply as follows:





45 to 30 days prior to departure: 40% of the land tour price
29 to 15 days prior to departure: 60% of the land tour price
14 to 3 days prior to departure: 80% of the land tour price
later than 3 days: 100% of the land tour price
No refunds for no-shows and no refunds for unused portions during the course of the tour.

Except where Herod Itinerary Consultancy is grossly negligent, Herod Itinerary Consultancy shall not be
liable for (a) any personal injury or mishap that may occur during the tour, (b) for any loss of personal
belongings, and (c) any loss, personal injury or other damage suffered as a result of the [other party's] or the
passenger's failure to adhere or comply with Herod Itinerary Consultancy , its agents' or guides' instruction or
advice
All services will be fulfilled according to the program, however, we seek your understanding if some of the
places of visit have to be cancelled due to the following reasons: delay during the journey, traffic congestion,
road and weather condition and other conditions beyond our control. As all services are pre-booked and
prepaid, there is no guarantee of any refund from the service provider or operator if such circumstances arise.
Should there be any unforeseen circumstances occur during the tour such as bad weather, road blockage etc.
the company reserve the right to alter itineraries, travel arrangements or hotel reservation if it is deemed
necessary or in the case of force majeur.

Itinerary:
Day 1 | Berlin - Arrival
After your arrival in Berlin your tour director will accompany you to your hotel in beautiful German Capital.
Day 2 | Berlin & Dresden
After a hearty breakfast we start our city tour of Berlin. In the morning you will experience the highlights of this metropolis on an extensive city tour
- Brandenburg Gate, Parliament building, Berlin Cathedral and Alexander Square, the Berlin Wall. The afternoon is at leisure. You may take a trip
with us in the green lung of Berlin - in the Grunewald. Here, the visitors almost forget that they are in a city of millions. Visit and witness the history
at the Berlin Wall Memorial at Bernauer Strasse and Check point Charlie. Later we drive to Dresden.
Day 3 | Dresden & Wroclaw
This morning we explore the highlights of Dresden: The Zwinger, the Frauenkirche fabled, Theater Square with Semperoper and more which will
delight you. In the afternoon we take a trip to Pillnitz Palace, once the summer residence of Augustus the Strong. Later we continue our journey to
Wroclaw. How about an evening stroll through the old town of Wroclaw?
Day 4 | Wroclaw & Krakow
In the morning we introduce you to Wroclaw on a city sightseeing tour. As the fourth largest city in Poland's historic capital of Lower Silesia it has a
stimulating urban flair. On our way to Krakow we take a physical and emotional halt in the Memorial and Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau, one of
the greatest horrors of the past during the second World War. Study also this part of recent history in this concentration camp in order to define a
more peaceful future. In the evening, we have a first stroll through the Old Town of Krakow. We may have a beer in a typical pub.
Day 5 | Krakow
Krakow is one of the architectural gems of Central Europe. Ever since then, the now fully restored old town (UNESCO World Heritage) reveals a
great insight into the heyday of the ancient city. Explore Krakow at leisure in your own pace in the afternoon. Get enchanted by the unique flair of
the city.
Day 6 | Krakow & Zakopane
Today you will visit the salt mines of Wieliczka (UNESCO World Heritage), one of the most valuable natural and cultural monuments in the world.
Continue via Rabka and Nowy Targ in the most beautiful mountain region of southern Poland. The characteristic landscape of the High Tatras is
characterized by rising up to 2,600 meters summit. Visit the Koscieliskatals, a magnificent natural wonders of the Tatra Mountains, known for his
numerous robbers legends. Check-in into Zakopane in the early evening.
Day 7 | Zakopane
After a short walk through the beautiful landscape we reach the heart of the popular resort of Zakopane. In a city tour you will see among others the
beautiful wooden house "Villa KOLIBA", the old wooden church and the cemetery with the graves of celebrities. The highlight of the day is the ride
with the cog railway to Gubalowka (extra cost) to admire the magnificent mountain panorama. In the afternoon we invite you to coffee which is
served in a typical pastry.
Day 8 | Tarnow
Today we drive to the mountain range of the Low Beskids. In Debno you visit one of the famous wooden churches in Poland (UNESCO World
Heritage Site). Then our journey continues to CZORSTYN, a ruined castle where you have a wide view to the end of the Dunajec valley. You may
enjoy a 2-hour float trip down the river Dunajec (extra fee) through the valley that carries its towering cliffs up to 300 m steep. The rafts are guided
by traditional mountain dwellers.
Day 9 | Warsaw
After breakfast our journey leads to the quiet and rural character provincial capital Kielce. The friendly marketplace surrounded by houses from the
18th and 19th centuries. In the afternoon you will then reach the Polish capital Warsaw. Start to feel the city by foot on a first evening stroll through
the heart of the city.
Day 10 | Warsaw
In the morning we take you on an interesting sightseeing tour through the rich and often tragic history of Warsaw. You see the magnificent Royal
Palace, St. John's Cathedral and the Old Town Market Square (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The afternoon is at leisure for own tours.
Day 11 | Warsaw - Departure
We hope to have introduced you to a culturally rich but also historically shaken part of Europe on this tour. Germany and Poland have fought many
battles in history but out of the ashes the Phoenix arises and creates a brighter future for both countries.
