We will cover Chapters 3 and 4, parts of 5 and 6, 7, and selected topics
from 9, 10 and 14. I will follow the book fairly closely, and provide
supplemental material as needed.
I will use and help with R, available on utstat and Cquest. Splus, also
available there, works almost the same. You are welcome to use another
program such as Matlab if you prefer.
