Gintong Binhi ng Karunungan Program
SY 2012-2013
The program will finance the education of 5 deserving High School graduates in a 5-year
Engineering Course or 2-year Technology (Engineering) Course.
GENERAL CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY:






High School graduates in all schools at Pangasinan Province
Graduated with a Final Grade of at least 85% in Math, English and Science
Bonafide resident of Pangasinan for at least 5 years
Annual family income of P100,000 or less
Good moral character
Have passed the entrance examination at Pangasinan State University or Colegio de Dagupan
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Official application forms are available at the Office of the Provincial Administrator’s office,
DepEd Pangasinan 1 and 2 Division offices of Pangasinan or may be downloaded at this website.
Only completely filled-up application forms with complete documentary requirements will be
processed.
DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:

Photocopy of F-138 or 4 year High School report card
Photocopy of Income Tax Return of parents and family members in the same household; W2 for those
who have no ITR or those whose annual earnings are below Php100,000.00; BIR Tax Exemption Certificate
for those who are not earning.
Certificate of residency from the Provincial Governor’s Office
Certificate of good moral character from the High School Guidance Office
Certification/Letter from PSU or Colegio de Dagupan with the entrance examination rating
POSSIBLE COURSE OPTIONS:
The applicant must SPECIFY in the official application a Priority 1 and Priority 2 course among
the following:
Colegio de Dagupan:
Pangasinan State University:
o BS Electrical Engineering
o BS Computer Engineering
o BS Electronics and Communication Engineering
o BS Mechanical Engineering
2-Year Technology Courses (Ladderized Program) at Colegio de Dagupan:
o Associate in Electronics and Communications Engineering
o Associate in Computer Technology
SCHOLARSHIP PRIVILEGES: Full matriculation fee and monthly allowance
EXPECTED DATE OF ANNOUNCEMENT OF SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFIERS: On or before the first
week of May 2012.
