UNIT ID/SERIAL NUMBER LOCATIONS ON ENTRY DOOR, VINYL AND PELLA IMPERVIA PRODUCTS:
ENTRY DOOR:
July 2005 – Current, the serial number is on the top hinge. The serial number will supply all the information
needed to identify components of that particular door.
PELLA VINYL PRODUCTS:
Pella Vinyl Products made with Intercept IG system have a printed
character string in an upper corner of the spacer channel. This
permanent character string includes a Serial Number.
Pella Vinyl Products made with a Superspacer IG or box spacer IG system have a printed character string on a Pella Unit ID Sticker that is placed
in the Lower RH Corner of the unit. The character string provides the same product information as the Intercept spacer provides. Fixed Frame
and Radius Shape units use this type of IG System, as well as large rectangular units where 5 mm glass thickness is required.
The first three (3) characters of that Serial Number represent the Plant that produced the product (IE G03xxxx = Gettysburg Plant). This serial
number can be entered into a look-up function from MyPella.com that allow Pella service personnel to view all the attributes of the product.
(Glass Type--Dimensions--Product Type).
PELLA® IMPERVIA® PRODUCTS:
Pella Impervia products print a serial number on the spacer
between the glass.
Example: Serial Number broke out. (2008 – Current)
